Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 10, 2026
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how FlyEsim.me ("FlyEsim.me", "we", "us", "our") collects, uses, discloses, stores and protects your personal information when you visit our website, create an account, purchase or use our prepaid eSIM services, or otherwise interact with us (collectively, the "Services"). It should be read together with our Terms of Service.
We act as the data controller for the personal information we process about you. By using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
2. Information We Collect
We collect only the information we need to provide, secure and improve the Services:
Information you provide to us
- Account information: name, email address, phone/contact number, and password when you register.
- Order and billing information: the plans you purchase, billing address, and transaction records. Card and crypto payment details are collected and processed directly by our payment processors (Stripe, POKPay, OxaPay) — we do not store your full card number.
- Support communications: the content of messages, emails, and any information you provide when you contact support.
Information we collect automatically
- Usage data: pages viewed, features used, time on page, and links clicked.
- Technical and device data: IP address, approximate location derived from IP, browser type, device and operating system, and diagnostic/log data.
- eSIM service data: activation status, data-usage volume, plan validity, and the destination/region of use, which we receive from our connectivity providers to operate your eSIM and support you.
- Cookies and similar technologies: as described in Section 4.
Sensitive data
We do not intentionally collect special-category or sensitive personal data (such as racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious beliefs, health, or sexual orientation). Please do not send us such data unless strictly necessary; if you do, you consent to our processing it for the purpose for which you provided it.
3. How and Why We Use Your Information (Legal Bases)
We use your information for the following purposes, relying on the legal bases indicated where applicable law (such as the GDPR/UK GDPR) requires one:
- To provide the Services — create and manage your account, deliver, activate and support your eSIM, and process orders. Basis: performance of a contract.
- To process payments and prevent fraud — verify transactions, run fraud, sanctions and chargeback checks. Basis: contract, legitimate interests, and legal obligation.
- To communicate with you — send order confirmations, technical notices, security alerts, and support responses (service messages you cannot opt out of while you hold an account). Basis: contract and legitimate interests.
- Marketing — send offers and product news, only where you have consented or where otherwise permitted. You can withdraw consent at any time. Basis: consent / legitimate interests.
- To improve and secure the Services — analytics, troubleshooting, and protecting against abuse. Basis: legitimate interests.
- To comply with law — meet accounting, tax, regulatory and lawful-request obligations. Basis: legal obligation.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use cookies, pixels and local storage to operate the site and understand how it is used:
- Essential cookies — required for core functions such as login, security, and the checkout/cart. The site cannot work properly without these.
- Performance/analytics cookies — help us understand usage in aggregate to improve the site.
- Functionality cookies — remember your preferences, such as language or region.
- Advertising cookies/pixels — measure and improve the relevance of our advertising, and may involve sharing limited data with advertising partners.
Where required by law, we request your consent for non-essential cookies via our consent banner, and you can change your choices at any time. You can also control cookies through your browser settings; blocking some cookies may affect how the site works.
5. How We Share Your Information
We share personal information only as needed and under appropriate safeguards:
- Service providers / processors — payment processors, eSIM connectivity and network partners, hosting, email, analytics and customer-support providers, who may use the data only to perform services for us.
- Legal and safety — where required by law, regulation, legal process, or lawful government request, or to protect our rights, users, or the public, and to enforce our Terms or investigate fraud.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred to the successor entity.
6. International Data Transfers
We operate globally and may process and store your information in countries other than the one in which you live, including where our providers are located. Where we transfer personal data across borders, we take steps to ensure an appropriate level of protection as required by applicable law (for example, standard contractual clauses). By using the Services, you understand that your information may be processed in these locations.
7. Data Retention
We keep personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including to provide the Services, and to meet legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention and dispute-resolution requirements. When no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
8. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to: access the personal data we hold about you; correct inaccurate data; request deletion; restrict or object to certain processing; withdraw consent; receive a copy of your data in a portable format; and, for residents of certain jurisdictions, opt out of certain sharing and not be discriminated against for exercising your rights. To exercise any right, contact us at [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity first, and we will respond within the time required by applicable law. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
9. Updating or Deleting Your Information
You can review and update most account information by logging in to your account. To delete your account, use your account settings or contact [email protected]. Note that we may retain certain information where required for legal, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes.
10. Security
We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information, including encryption of data in transit (TLS/SSL), access controls, secure hosting, and encrypted payment processing handled by our payment partners. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and using a strong, unique password. We will never ask for your password by email; treat any such request as phishing and report it to us. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Children's Privacy
The Services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you by email or a notice on the website. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
13. Contact Us
If you have any questions, concerns, or requests regarding this Privacy Policy or your personal information, contact us at [email protected].
